Custom processing of food-grade spout pouches is a systematic and precise production process that integrates material selection, structural design, accessory matching and technological processing. Unlike finished standard pouches, customized spout pouches need to match specific liquid properties, usage scenarios, shelf life requirements and packaging aesthetics. Neglecting minor processing details may lead to poor sealing, liquid leakage, insufficient barrier performance and unqualified food safety indicators. Therefore, multiple key details must be strictly controlled during customization to ensure product quality and practicality.
Material matching is the primary core detail in customization. Processors need to select composite materials according to the characteristics of the packaged liquid. For ordinary daily beverages and low-corrosive daily chemical liquids, conventional PET/PE transparent composite materials are sufficient to meet demands. For light-sensitive, oxidizable liquids such as syrup, medicinal liquid and essential oil, aluminum foil composite structures of PET/AL/PE must be selected to achieve full light shielding and high barrier protection. For high-temperature sterilized soups and cooked liquids, high-temperature resistant CPP inner layer materials are required to adapt to 121°C retort processing, avoiding melting and delamination. Blind material selection will directly cause functional defects of the packaging.
Spout specification and structural design also require precise customization. Different liquid viscosities correspond to different spout calibers. High-viscosity liquids like honey and sauce need large-caliber oblique spouts to reduce residue, while thin liquids such as fruit juice and purified water adapt to small-caliber straight spouts to prevent overflow. In addition, the pouch structure should be adjusted according to capacity and usage. Large-capacity liquid packaging needs to add reinforced handles and thicken the bag body, while portable small-capacity pouches adopt lightweight and miniaturized designs. The welding firmness between the spout and the bag body must be strictly controlled to avoid desoldering and leakage during use.
Production process and safety details are indispensable. All customized food-grade pouches must comply with GB 4806 national food safety standards, with strictly controlled solvent residue and heavy metal content. The heat-sealing temperature, pressure and time need precise debugging to ensure tight and uniform sealing edges without virtual sealing or cracking. For printed customized pouches, environmentally friendly food-grade ink must be used to prevent ink migration and contamination. Meanwhile, manufacturers should conduct strict leakage tests, barrier performance tests and low and high-temperature resistance tests before delivery to guarantee stable product quality.
In summary, spout pouch customization needs to focus on material adaptation, spout structure matching, standardized processing technology and food safety detection. Strict control of every processing detail can produce high-quality, safe and scenario-matched customized spout pouches, meeting diverse packaging and preservation needs.
